Every year NJAC (parent agency) works to help those in need build brighter futures across 11% counties in the state of New Jersey (52% of the total state population). NJAC, as the first non-profit organization to have a reentry rehabilitation state/federal funded housing program, recognized that they are the leaders to start the process of healing and progression in many service areas needed in New Jersey.
NJAC's four services focuses on victim, health (AIDS/HIV), fair housing, and second chance (reentry). NJAC's mission is to provide safety, opportunity, and access to resources that result in greater social equity and individual self-worth. NJAC envisions a society whereby people negatively impacted by social inequities can be empowered to make changes in their lives when given the necessary resources and support to achieve the goal of self-sufficiency.
